Hi, I'm the one cleaning your gear.
Squeaky Seats is a one-person business. Every item that comes through is hand-washed by me, inspected by me, and returned by me — so I can stand behind the work.
I started cleaning seats for friends after my own first baby spilled half a smoothie into a brand-new convertible seat. Three rounds of spot-cleaning later I gave up, took the whole thing apart in the garage, and discovered how grim seats get even when they look fine.
A few neighborhood DMs turned into a side gig, and the side gig turned into Squeaky Seats. Today I serve families across Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Middleton, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, and Emmett.
My process
- 1
Inspect the seat or item with you so we agree on its condition.
- 2
Disassemble per manufacturer instructions — covers, harnesses, buckles.
- 3
Hand-wash fabric and pad components with baby-safe detergents.
- 4
Sanitize hard plastics and harness webbing.
- 5
Air-dry, reassemble, and pressure-test the harness.
Insurance & safety
Fully insured for in-home pickup and transport. I follow each car seat manufacturer's cleaning instructions to the letter — no submerging harnesses, no harsh chemicals, no putting anything back together unless it dries flat and clicks the way it should.
